There's a pretty decent Supra scene in SoCal, including a lot of MKIIIs, so that could be fun for you. Try to get in touch with some of those guys to get more information about that area - I've only been down there once. When you come to visit, you MUST visit the coast. And take it from someone...

The weather varies GREATLY in different parts of California. The warm, sunny beaches and hot people you have in mind are in Southern California. (Prepare for major gold-digging, fake people, very congested traffic, way too many people per square mile, and a VERY high cost of living.) I grew up...

Basically, if you want to run a modified car without worry of huge fines or having it impounded, California is not the state for you. Many people mod their cars anyway, and most of them don't get caught, so it's up to you to determine whether or not the risk is worth it. I can't wait to get out...

I was looking at a condo in Rocklin and saw two MKIIIs in the parking lot, looked like a 90 (Medium Red Pearl, targa, five-speed) and a 92(?) auto (darker red, I don't remember the name, obviously the project car). Anyone on here?

Sweet! We just snagged this at Safeway here in Auburn, CA. It was the last box on the top shelf. We've got a few cans chilling in the fridge right now and will report on the taste soon. :) EDIT: OMG, this stuff is amazing! I'm already a Pepsi fan, and this stuff is just :love:

Tipping benefits only the restaurant owners since they can pay the servers much less and let tips bring it up to a legal wage. This whole story is ridiculous, and I agree that the restaurant is screwed.

My Abyssinian FLIPPED when I played that video - she even tried to attack my other cat, who I assume she thought was the source of the noise. Poor Mow was just sitting there, and BAM! I, too, love being a pet owner. :D Edit: I just watched the second cat vid and almost fell out of my chair...

I've been keeping myself pretty busy - work, car stuff, started writing articles for a magazine, and trying to get out more and do stuff since the weather's nicer (read: 60 degrees instead of 95). How have you been? The new car looks nice!
