In my experience 1jz swaps are not any cheaper then any other swap to be honest.....
Just do what you ultimately want the first time and don't kick your self later..

Anyway my money is on the Tps causing most of the issue.
You have a lot of learning and reading a head of you. Just be smart because if all that is said is true that engine has a lot of money put into it.

3100cfm is required to keep the 1jz cool in all wheater conditions.
3300cfm for the 2jz.
Stock 2jz fan clutch setup flows 3400cfm.
This is on a stock application modification will change that number.
Lol I think he means its almost 4,000lbs of car :-) if you include driver. But either way yes you need some upgraded suspension to keep up. I know your car has the power for it.
