www.clublexus.com is an excellent site and has a forum for all models. The IS 300 is the only IS model I like. I got the same engine in my SC. Love it!
If the body/interior were in very good condition I'd think about it. I own an SC300 (2000 model. Had a 98 as well) and it's been the best car I've ever owned. I lost my 98 to a hail storm. It had 221k miles on it and was super tight and I had zero issues driving it anywhere, like major road...
After seeing a swapped '99 SC300 at TX2K11 this year I was in love. I contacted the guy on clublexus and he told me what all was involved with the swap. I briefly considered doing the same swap on my 2000 SC but decided against it, only because I can spend the money better elsewhere. He...
Just in case the ad gets deleted for being stupid, this is the text from it. The car is a gay blue stock 89. Asking price is $6500.
Runs like a top with no mechanical issues. Tagged and inspected with a clear title. It is bone stock, no modifications or tuner parts. It was owned by my uncle...
The scar on my neck from my anterior cervical fusion is not that noticeable. The doc did the incision in a neck wrinkle too though. Guess being 38 at the time of surgery helped haha.
I've had both n/a and turbo. Highway cruising in my stock gte I was getting 27 mpg. My n/a only got around 23-24 hwy. MPG's were reversed for city driving. The GTE was worse. My advice would be to NOT use the supra as a DD and find some 4-banger to run around in, or just go get you a Lexus like...
I was driving down I-65 going to Nashville from Bowling Green and saw a white 91-ish Supra sitting on the shoulder. Dark rims if I recall. I would've pulled over had I not had my little girl with me. Whoever you are I hope you and the car are ok.
I live just west of Fort Worth a few minutes in Weatherford. I know the Dublin area very well and have enjoyed a many Dublin Dr. Pepper. For those of you wondering what's special about it is that it's made with Imperial Pure Cane Sugar and not a corn syrup sweetner.

Hail hit here in North Texas last week. It totaled my Lexus SC 300. Baseball size at DFW Airport where I was when it hit. So now I'm on the hunt for another SC.
And she is gone to the new owner.:wtc:
I'll undoubtedly have another one sometime in the future but it will already be put together and running!
Now time to concentrate on the 79 Thunderbird for my son.
Yep! I had to have flip up lights. They're vacuum operated too.
That IS the gay blue still in the driveway. At least till tomorrow I think. The kid who's buying it wants to come tomorrow to pick it up. the engine and tranny are already paid for and gone. I will have another supra one day but...
Pics you say?? Well I'm going to warn you now it's a tank, a beater, a big ass car. I think I shall name her Monster Bitch. These pics were taken before I cleaned it up, not that a wash made it look much better but vacuuming it did.

Hmmm. That's a thought!
Was told today I won't.
The engine is tight and runs good. Could stand a tune up but fires right up after two pumps on the carb!
I'd have to pull the engine to remove the cam right since it's not overhead? If that's the case hell no. I'm done pulling engines for...
