yhatzee89 i see that TRD radiator cap says 1,3kg/cm3 mine is only 0,9. u shure tubes are gonna hold that extra pressure? just in case it overheats in summer.

Built 7m is better than 1J. Stock vs. Stock 1j have advances but 3.0 makes a big difference when it comes too torque. Well it all depends on your hp goals etc but you know once you get 500 you will want more :D

Thx. I will put it back in. Drove like 30kms without and it takes pretty long time to heat up and even tho engine temp is still a bit lower than usuall. So i guess that VERY HOT tube was just normal as my tstat opens at 88º C

still idles like sh*t but under load its smooth and is not missing single cylinder. so im down to hunt for bad vacuum hoses.
I did remove T-stat - anyways after changing all the fluids and flushing the engine its cooler now and oil pressure is much higher...
Ok i understand but i feel that there is no flow at all. Because fluid in radiator is cold but thise 6 cylinder tubes gets so hot that cant hold my hand on them. At the same time engine temp gauge was just 1/4 rised (usually i had it @ 1/2 )
Any ideas?
finally started afrer changing HG and everything in head. i think i have some vac leak or some bad seal and something is wrong with cooling. the tubes that comes out of th cly 6 (upper and lower 90 degree ) gets VERY hot. tommarow will try to take termostat out and see if thats my problem...

my buddy used cigarette smoke for his DSM and worked very well. we were able to see where the smoke comes out. i guess it depends how large lungs you have :D
After ~9hr of total work (splited in 2 days) removed engine head from block with intake and exhaust manifolds attached. Damn that thing weights a lot (if you have to remove it alone with no engine lift. Will upload some progress when get access to PC
