oh you teaser with that beautifull dream MK4 supra Justin :P
i found out there are only 7 (including my) MK3 supras in my Country that are officially road legal at the moment.... sad and at the same time makes me to love my supra even more.
Thing is i just rebuild my 7M. With block milled, cometic HG, arp etc. I tried with 0.9 and 1.1bar brand new radiator caps and 1.1bar has temp gauge in it. Pressure reaches its maximums point when coolant temp is 60C but pressure keeps rising all the time untill that 60C point. I was in warm...
Guys is there anything else besides cracked head, block, bhg that could cause high pressure in cooling system. Also i noticed a bit of somekinda smoke when removing oil cap.
Hey so updating my issue.
After checking that diagram (thx jetjock) i found its not ground issue since all tail lights share same ground same as license plate light. I tried wiring suggestions mentioned in first page but it didnt work. So i found out i also had to use green/blue wire for...
Hey.
My car sometimes did this terrible thing and ofcourse happened when i needed the most :D
It was very rare though but now after rebuild i couldnt start the car at all. So i did this "mod" for free because i have parts car - eclipse and it had a lot of 30amp relays with all the wiring...
well 300 - 450 is very big difference. If tranny is healthy - with good maintaining history then with shimmed accumulators it wont have that much stress on clutch pack and it would hold it much better. I've read that they hold 400hp easily with shims and bigger cooler. If ur swapping it to R154...
I know grandavi ive learned a lot and know all supporting mods and upgrades needed to run past fuel cut.
yes its 7m and yes its ct26 and yes i know stock ct26 doesnt like more than 12ish psi. for more than half year it will stay no more than 10psi anyways plus i have to break in the engine...
Hey i know i asked head gasket thickness question but ill ask it again differently.
Can i still use stock thickness head gasket if head + block are machined 0.7mm. i know about higher compression - im not planning to run more than 15psi in any near future but im just anxious about valves...
Hey guys i hope someone could help me.
So all the lights except rear driver side parking light and license plate light are off. Passenger side tail light all works. I tried that yellow box bypass - still only right side tail light would come up. Yellow box itself looks very fine. connections...
guys i did it without loosening subframe. i remember that really all i had to do is remove plastic under arch/guard and i was able to remove bolt. It wasn't that hard.
Shimmed my a340e 1-2 and 2-3 6mm and painted oil pan red for more hp :evil2:
i was a bit scared to go into tranny that "deep" but once i did it was easier than i thought. I hope the result will be positive.
Hey guys i really need your advice.
its about head gasket thickness.
Head has been machined 0,2mm and block 0,5mm !!!! so total of 0,7mm. i have in mind using cometic head gasket and i think its 1,3mm.... i know there is some reserve that can be machined while still using stock head gasket...
I had this sensor disconnected and had no problems or codes. The meaning of this sensor would be - if you turn on your A/C it would know whether to turn on electric fans or no.
im sure you could attach the hose to BOV and recirculate it back into the intake. if you like that chu chuuu sound you can use high flow air filter, with even better aluminium intake pipe that will resonate the sound and you'll be able to hear it pretty loud. some bows even have option...
sent the block to mechanic to check for cracks, resurfice the deck, replace whatever needs to be replaced. i really want to keep 7M but its been pain in the a** for a while.
still chasing rear left parking light + number place light issue. cant figure why its not working.
if engine is in good shape and maintained well, then with supporting mods stock internals will hold well over 400whp. in other forums ppl say they've been pushing 500rwhp with stock internals for years. But ive heard 500whp is the limit so safe zone would be 450whp so i think you should be safe...
