the motor has been gone through, and he has cams and a tune. if I remember right he's making just over 400 hp. if you want to see the same engine in his previous car do a search on youtube for "drift 99 speedway giligan" it's the gold 240.
here's the crossmember after being finished.
inorder to get the t56 to clear the tunnel he used spacers under the subframe. he's going to use camber plates and coil overs to readjust the suspension later.
the stock crossmember is just there for support

So here it is, my friend finally decided to swap the ls1 into something other than his 240 sx.
1990 cressida with 75k original miles with a 7m, with a rod through the side of the block under the starter lol...
and here's the ls1 and the 6 speed.

well, I can't remember right off hand how many quarts of the mtx it takes to fill the tranny, and how many quarts of oil it takes to fill the engine. (I guess you could figure it out when you get to your old workplace. lol). and just get whatever the reccomended oil is for the 1uzfe.
the cressida is getting there, I actually plan on posting pics of the ls1 in it later tonight.
As far as my project goes, I've got the wiring and exaust left and that's it.
and yes tanner I need some stuff, mainly fluids to go into the swap. I need lube for both the engine and the...
if anything maybe I can catch a ride (hinthint)..... I don't think it'll be done by sunday...

I also added the uhmw mounts
and right now the only thing holding up my swap is ,oney for exaust and a custom driveshaft.
