thats what they came out of was a 5mgte with some busted pistons. never seen ross forged slugs get busted that way. guy must have seriously detonated that engine. the 2 rods that need reconditioned had spun bearings.

carrilo makes 5m rods. i sold a set on ebay some time ago.

wrong. 5m rods are 6.123in. center to center. they are exactly 1/8th of an inch longer then 7m rods.

what happend to the 85? and will he ever release the mods done to the car? besides the obvious ones? and also the 7m in that was in joels car that joel attempted to sell on ebay awhile back?

7m and 5m heads stock flow similar. i have os valves for my 5m and 7m heads im working on. though both heads have been ported as well. when they are done ill try to have them flowed so we can settle the debate once and for all.

ive seen 60 over wisecos last over 5 years on a 7mgte with 20-25psi of boost from a t04e AND a 150shot wet fogger. pistons still looked almost new whe nthe engien threw a stock rod and was pulled apart. wisecos are the shit. ive NEVER heard of anyone having probs with them. and lots of locals...

ok, i was given incorrect info then. i havent taken that plug off to clean it yet. i was told by a guy i know that all the rx7's had thermostats built in, i have seen it before about the t2 models do so now im not so sure. either way ill still use this cooler. its in good shape and isnt rotted...

again, more stuff arrived. mainly the lower intake moded for 6 aditional injectors. gonan run bosch 135cc/min injectors in this rail for the water/meth injection and got some pte 780cc/min injectors on the way as well. once my 17's are sold thats the forged pistons then i can get machine work...
