    do you mean the tabs that have the threaded sections attached to them? If I remember correctly, they are not replaceable. You'll probably have to get some glass that still has them intact.

    In my opinion, it isn't the smartest to put the kill switch on a supply wire...thats why the relay kill works well.

    I wired in a fuel kill switch when I upgraded my fuel pump wiring. I used two relays to maintain the stock high/low voltage switching. The way I wired it, the kill switch breaks ground to the first relay, preventing this relay from switching and providing power to the pump.

    if it was tap water, yeah, that would probably be why. if it was distilled water, the problem was elsewhere. (distilled water = non-conductive)
