Gosh, I am not even into the last series with Scott Bakula ( and I LOVED him in Quantum Leap!).. it just doesn't have that "spark" for me. I LOVED The Next Generation, and still do. and eventually I got into the original, DS9 and Voyager.... but Enterprise is all sorts of BLAH.
I don't think...
$2.19 here now. It's pretty cool to look back on this thread and see how fast prices have dropped. As of right now a barrel of oil is $56, down from what, $140 a few months ago?
hahahaha I love it, OPEC is pissssed
Um, a cheap gasket is a cheap gasket, whether it goes on a turbo car or not. It's still a piece of shit. Stock Toyota headgaskets for the 5M/6M are ot teh suck, but the head torque rating is still weaksauce. It's been fail on all M series engines
How did you come to find out those were HKS headers? Is there a marking on them of any kind?
I've seen Greddy/TRUST knock-off headers on yahoo Japan, painted in that same yellow color.
I turned off a few things this am and got it down to 35 processes. I'm not interested in nuking everything my pc really does run just fine. It only sloths up when I have Photoshop and Illustrator running, which is why I want more RAM eventually.
Yep, that was my 3rd BHG. The motor had 5,000 miles on it at the time.

I don't...
Once more, with FEELING!
I wanted to reiterate to all of you HOW BAD IT IS to use cheapshit Ebay head gaskets. I had the choice of using a Toyota OEM 7M gasket or using a Ebay HG that I received in a full engine gasket kit I bought for $52. I chose Ebay to see how well (or bad) it did...
We beat the fuck out of my 6MGE, did the high rpm load runs for like 20 minutes and then proceeded to drive it like we were competing in NASCAR. The engine has never been "babied" and shows 210psi across the board at roughly 7,500 miles
hmm. My MK2 (assuming I gets it back someday) is daily driven, but others say it would be better off as a track queen due to the fact I've gutted most of the car (no power steering, no heat, no a/c, no cruise, etc etc). I would daily drive it anywhere, just as long as the gas mileage stays at or...
