Sorry for the slow reply guys my pc was being repaired. It is a lilliput 7" monitor. I have a purpose made car pc under the passenger seat.
If i have time i will do some sort of write up. It took me about 6 go's to get the paint to look like that. I nearly gave up on it.
I was not happy with my first effort so i had another go at it. I got a second center consol and here are my results.
Here is what it was like.
And here is what it is like now.
Unfortunatley i scratched the monitor this time. Not been able to find a solution for this...
Yes that makes sence. I always said if the monitor was flat across the bottom it would have fitted so much better. I did look into taking it apart but it looked a bit involved. I am afraid of braking it.
Also should it fail in the future i would not be able to replace the monitor without...
Damm thats looks a nice set up. Been looking for that texured paint withoit any joy.
I have a second surround that i am playing with at the moment to try and improve on my first. I would like to know how you got yours to fit so easyly. Mine was a biach. Not really enough space to fit the monitor...
Just had mine done with a titan 2mm mhg torqued down to 95fpt. I was also worried by more gurgling noises behind the dash. I have put in a bit more coolant and all seems well at the moment. One you have had bhg you just assume it's happened again.
I would be very worried if you have put stock...
Have you looked at a site called MP3.com. Saw a couple of supras on there that had bee done with some success. One had moved his heater controls over to where i have my apexi stuff. Would be quite difficult tho. I am glad i put my screen up high but it made it very hard to get the stereo in.
I see you put the stereo on top. I did not want to do that as there was a large obstruction behind that i did not want to get into.
Also difficult to support it i guess.
I used normal car filler that plastic body filler stuff. Seems to work quite well. I made a mistake of using dash paint that...
pre built pc but i had to get the monitor and cables to make it all work. Took some time. The dash was the hardest to customise. Running windows xp pro. Lovin driving about with music vids on.
Well some of you might no that i just fitted a pc into my car so here are some pics. Had to move the dials to the glove box which took some time and customising but i think it looks ok.
Also i have my shine kit fitted but not painted yet. Hope yall like it.
Did all the work myself so did not...
Ok well i will give you the link to the pc i got. I think it cost me £130 but £30 of that was ram upgrade, and custom menu's which had supra on them and also a picture of my car incorporated into the desk top. The monitor is a liliput 7" touch screen so no need for mouse or keyboard...
Well i spent the last few evenings and weekends fitting a carputer to my supra.
It has XP Pro running. Took a bit of time to source all the bits and more time to make it all fit but i am pretty happy with how it looks.
I am lovin cruising down the road with music vids playing. This will be...
