The closest city/town worth mentioning is Great Falls.. it's about 2.5 hours away from the border (according to google)... but I have no idea what to do there :hs: Billings is about 350 miles.. but Google seems to think its almost 9 hours??? WTF, at an average speed of 80mph you could get...

There is a fluttering noise.. Just in case, we can post a new vid of the revs, closer up, so you guys can hear it. BTW, I just got my plates yesterday, not sure if I should quite yet take it for a spin, though. I also found out that the cams were just replaced and a new HG (toyota oem)...

lol I hear ya.. unfortunately, there isnt much choice here in MT... I gotta get the engine up to par first. suspension next.. it seems a bit worn. The body itself seems to be in a decent shape. There's a tiny ding on the passenger door. The interior is dusty but no stains.. gotta vacum it...

just got back.. the EC light does not even come on.. which I assume is good. However, I have no idea what the yellow light on the left is for.. It's right above the coin holders. :/

I'm going to check the codes in an hour or so during my lunch break... I wasnt able to get any codes when it wouldnt start.

So I'm a complete car/supra noob.. and I just happened to buy a supra at the same time as NexiusEvaro did. Both in the same city. Mine's 89 Supra Turbo A/T Targa. I think it has the Sport package, too. The car has a rebuilt motor but something went wrong and it stopped working after about 600...

As suggested by NexiusEvaro, I am creating a thread for the Billings, MT supra noobs. It just happened that we both just purchased supras :)

I know the alternator is bad.. had it checked by a shop. The ECU I'm not so sure about. In fact, I'm going to start a new thread on this... dont' wanna take this one over ;)

I may need some parts off that ;).. right now I'm suspecting my ECU may be out. The alternator is gone for sure.

Ha! I think my timing to buy my Supra was perfect! I just got myself an 89 Turbo AT, and yes, I'm in Billings, MT. I also have some problems with mine... such as it doesn't quite run ;) Either way.. I gotta start learning on something, and am willing to help you with whatever I can on your car :)
