    Are the mounting points for the 92-94 Lexus SC 300 alt the same as the 1JZ ones? Mine just took a crap Saturday and I want to replace it with the Lexus one.

    With an ill motor(1.5jz), I made 470 whp@ 20 psi w/a 81 a/r and 75 mm inducer (Precision Turbo 4067 H) last year. I hope I can break the 600 mark this year w/a built motor.

    Here is a better picture of what I'm asking. The intake air temp sensor is attached to the gray connector(the throttle cable is just in front of it).

    The Intake air temp sensor should be located on the inside (Head Side) of the Intake manifold, in the middle of the top tank.

    My 1JZ's been acting up lately(cold starts) and I wondering if AEM inlet temp sensor from a MK4 would be compatible w/ our intake air temp sensor. I've been told that could be the source of my cold starts problems. TIA. :1zhelp:

    There is nothing wrong w/your diff. You can still use it. The only difference is the 1JZ diff. has a 4.10 gearing w/a torsen diff. compare against a 4.30 from a N/A. Is your diff a LSD diff? If it isn't, then you have a open diff. You need to get a turbo driveshaft from a 7MGTE for your 1JZ...

    I took my car to a shop specialize in rebuilding starters and alternators by my house. Done and install for $75.

    For what I've heard at Supraforums, 89+ 7M starter should fit. Others have suggested 2JZGTE, 2JZGE, Lexus GS and SC (not sure about the yrs) HTH.
