What is bov?

Can't seem to figure out where this hose goes to. It is near the center of the intake plenum. It goes down and turns and seems to connect to tubing that goes toward the rear of the engine. It is not the fuel return hose but is about the same size (about 3/16" or 1/4" ID).

Thanks for the great pic. I am now not sure how to reach it with everything else installed around it. I can't seem to even see it. Any ideas? Maybe from below?

I am putting together a basket case -88 turbo-and it is a big puzzle. The only thing that I can't figure out on the passenger side is a white wire (with an insulating sleeve around it) and a connector on the end-the kind that goes on a blade type sensor- which has this large (maybe 1 3/4" dia)...
