I usually post over at cs.com, but definitely wanted to say hello.
Hi All,

My '85 has a 1JZGTE (from a Soarer). Stock twins. In fact, she's stock aside from 3" exhaust with hi-flow cat. 19x12 FMIC. I don't even have a 3" DP or EBC - yet.

She put down 268whp last Fall when I first got it running, which I think is decent for a 1JZ with no mods.

(My PS is not connected yet):

Welcome to supramania sir, and don't be skerrred to post pictures of the rest of your car. Most of us love MKII's, and we have one member on here that looks upon it as porn...........:naughty:

welcome, i love your mark2, makes me want to get another one.i swapped a 7mgte into a ma61 and found it a little tough on the drivetrain, do you find the 1jz is bit gentler?

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! It was a tough project to finish as I have little kids, family obligations, etc.

She runs great and is driven virtually every work day. I took the car on a 500 mile road trip in March without a hiccup (aside from a disturbingly loud Walbro).

Trans. is W58 and has thus far help up fine. I will hit the strip within the next few weeks for a baseline run (before I start modding). I have a spare trans just in case.

If/when I go single I will of course convert to R154.

I don't have a ton of pics but here's another. The car basically just looks like a relatively clean Mk2. She has a tiny bit of rust around the windshield and gas cap.
