Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself... I use Godchsr when driving my 1992 300zx Twin Turbo.
I pulled my VG30DETT out a few months ago after a spun bearing. It turns out that those are notorious for spun bearings past the 450rwhp mark.
I did a bit of research and discovered that the 2JZ was a GREAT base to start with. From my research a 2JZ with stock internals will out perform an LS1, LT1 and basically every foreign motor (of comparable price) with the equally superior of the RB26.
I'd love to stay with the Nissan line BUT the hype behind the RB26 has skyrocketed the price of those motors. Besides finding a useable tranny with those things is heard to do.
Alas I stumble on the 2JZ... modifying it to a single turbo... upgrading to top feed injectors... using the SAFC2 and Profec B from the Z32 to help bump up the volume and hopefully get this thing running by late Summer 08. I'll make sure to come back and post the pictures as I complete each part.
