Yet another ct26 question

Well I'm planing on boosting my stock ct26 to around 16 psi of boost tomorrow. I'll probably blow my oem head gasket. But I want to see what a stock turbo can do. I would like to know what are the consequences of boosting over 15psi on a stock ct. Will it blow out?

It will start to blow hot air and is past it's efficiency point at that boost level. I am assuming the turbo is completely stock, no upgrades at all.

Yeah i've seen people that say they run more then 15psi on the Stock CT26. But i've read (respectable people) that its pointless and is just adding Danger to the motor and Turbo

That's what I was thinking. Thought I read some where that it dosnt really make any power after about 14psi.

Unless it's got an upgraded wheel, there's not much point. It's out of it's efficiency range and will give you very very minmal gains if any at all with lots of added stress on the turbo and risk to the engine.
