Yep yep.. question on rebuilding the center cartridge.

So what's the word... do these ebay T70s use Garrett-sized internals? As in, can they be rebuilt to use some better internals? I didn't see any major wear on my T70 (check out the thread in General Discussions) but I figure.. eh.. what the hell, might as well have it all freshened up

not a bad idea. rebuilt with ball bearing center cartridge too... hmm...

I think the ebay t70's are copied after the Schwitzer 3LD turbo.

I need the measurements and pictures of the shaft and the bearings. I also need the measurements and pictures of the thrust bearing.

Either way - Garrett or Schwitzer internals - they will be better than what was in the turbo to begin with.

Works for me... when I find my snap ring pliers, I'll tear into the bearings, and get you some dimensions
