finally got my car back today and it runs like a champ. only took it into boost once so far(too scared too yet untill i do another oil change) and it boosted and pulled amazing all the way to 7.5psi. The car runs smoother and better then ever. im running some cheap 5W-30 boss oil till sat just to help flush out all the contaimnated oil and stuff from the BHG. then on sat I put some new 10W-30 mobil 1 oil in.

Here is all that has gotten done to it:
-new recondtioned head and cams
-New gaskets and seals
-new OEM hg with ARP bolts torqued to 80lbs.
-replaced thermostat and thermostat gasket
-new NGK irduims spark plugs

Still waiting for these parts to come in the mail and some are sitting in my room waiting to be installed:
-lower mileage ct-26
-lower IC hardpipe
-new accordian hoses
-new 16 inch 5-star rims with new goodyear all season tires

In totall all these with labour from the shop is probaly around $3,200 CND.
Just being able to drive it for the first time in 2 month was amazing like buying it brand new all over again :evil2:

You might want to run non-syn oil in there a little longer. Definatley change the oil thats in there now, but do one or two more with regular oil. Helps condition the seal better, or so I've heard. Maybe someone else will chime in. Good to hear you're back in the saddle tho!

Congrats, I recommend changing you oil several times with regular oil. I'd change it after the first 20 miles, the next 50 miles & again after the next 100. This should help get all the contaminates out & avoid rod knock

just let everything sit for a bit like 1000 miles or so. dont go beating it to death already haha. Off topic: my rod knock'd supra is still running strong :D i don't know why peeps complain about them being unreliable. maybe cause mines stock ? oh and the burp thing didn't hppene again at all. i did spill some but thatds cause my coolant is like 3/4 of the full reservoir. my mistake haha.

I havn't been beating it too death yet. I have only hit boost liek 2 or 3 times yet. Hit it once from 1st to 3rd gear  and i have never felt anything like that before. When I used to boost it like over boost and like cough and spured and kick but now it pulls so smooth and strong. In a matter of seconds I'm already at 80km/h thing can go pretty fast if ur not paying attention.
