anyone currently running one?
I bought a stage 2 one and it got here yesterday, just wondering if anyone is running one and likes it or not. Got it for 265 shipped, so yeah.

do a search, this has been covered a couple times lately. I am also considering this combo for my low HP motor. The threads I read, it had some haters, but it was pointed out none of them actually had any experience with it.You'll get some who back the "known" brands, but I'd like to hear from more people who have used it, and what power they ran through it

Yeah, kinda forgot about search, i usually disregard it because it doesn't work on my computer at home haha.
Yeah, I'm not running a lot of HP right now on mine, just a couple upgrades to it, the stage 2 is supposed to hold like 390 torque and a little bit less horse or reversed, i forget. I figured I'd get it since it was pretty cheap and I dont really have the money to upgrade much anytime soon anyways.

I also tried the stage 3 but I tore it back apart after few hundred miles and tossed the 6 puck in the garbage as it was too grabby for me.

I kept the XTD pressure plate and used a stock disc and I have no complaints..

Edit: The stage 2 is not a 6 puck disc correct?

these are good reads "Finally" . I've got intake and 3" exhaust with a MBC. I'm gonna add walbro/lexus/550/afpr. We have no dyno around here (that I know of). What type HP should I be at then, and do you think the stage 3 will hold. Sounds like this answer would benefit more than just me and kylefto.

Joel, when you say 'grabby"were you talking daily driving, or under a load.....or both

Forced: I mean it was either on or off once it was warm. It would be ok pulling out of the driveway, but after a few miles it would start to grab hard. Not stop and go friendly. If I tried to slip it it would chatter bad and sqeal a bit. I like a smooth clutch and for my HP level, my setup works great for me..

Also, when I pulled it back apart, my flywheel was very scratched up and only the edges of the disc had any signs of wear telling me that it was not fully seated or broken in yet. But from what I could tell it was only getting more aggressive or worse...

If it was a track car, I would have left it in because it grabbed so hard and did not slip under loads at all.

isee no reason why you shouldnt be fine with the clutch with that setup surely you wound be making 300 + and thie stage three is made to handle alot more than that i tihnk its near the 380 range

I ran one (6 puck) for over year on 400hp, it always held well but was a bitch when warmed up in stop and go traffic. Cold i could slip it but as said above when heated up give lots of chatter and not very slippable - but, defo best bang for buck for me - toyota in the Uk charge more for a standard clutch kit :)
