At my work i have a xray machine similar to the ones u find at the airports for scaning hand luggage.Though it says not to put ur body parts inside while its energised it is not strong enuff to expose photographic film or damage foodstuffs.I was just wondering can i xray carparts like conrods,pistons and mebbi cranks.I dont think they would be too happy if i bring a block or head in though it will probably fit.It can detect different metals and shows up on the moniter in different shades of colors.Also it can zoom in on parts of interest.Any ideas on if the xray is strong enough to penetrate the parts?Im goin to bring in a broken stock piston and get them to run it through and have a look.
