it was more like 50ft, and he fell off balance just before the top. it looked like he got speed wobbles after landing the 720 and didn't have time to recover.
Yup if you watch he gets wobble right before the vert of the megaramp(about 3 feet from the lip) and it sent him out of control. Can't believe he could walk after that. His back/neck and tailbone must be made out ot Ti haha.

On another note... that roll in scares the sh*t outta me. I've gone pretty fast on a skateboard but I can't imagine dropping in on a 50+ foot roll in to 60mph in a few seconds. I can't even fathom jumping 70+ feet after that.

Landing on his ass is probably why he walked away. It was a smart thing to do and probably saved his life.
Yeah, he had serious speed wobble going up the ramp, it looked like his board just went flying out from under him with a mind of its own... it didn't have the same inertia and velocity he did, so it just picked a random direction and went there.

man on big ass ramps like that is seems like the majority of people bust their ass because of the mad air they get on the quaterpipe after the jump. Least he didn't get fucked up as bad as danny way when he had a similar fall a couple years ago.
