ok im a newb so i apologize ahead of time.

i recently picked up a 87 supra and got a 1jz engine and r154 transmission. while cleaning it the other day, i noticed one of the fittings on the trans was broke. so my question is does anyone know what goes onto this fitting/broken shit? location is on the passenger side of the trans back towards the mount.

so its not threaded in then? would a fitting from a 7m trans or 2jz trans work? or do i need to start a man hunt for one from a r154?

Nope no thread, there's an o-ring on it and usually there's a tab that bolts into that threaded hole beside it and goes into the groove in the Drive body you can just see.

Needs to be one from a 154 as far as I know, don't think the Auto or W58 ones interchange, 154's were used in quite a few cars/trucks.

Shouldn't be too expensive new from Toyota.

I'll need to swap the one out of my car eventually too, since it was setup for a 4.10 Torsen... good info IJ, thanks. :)
