WTF?! 7M clutch fan on a 1JZ? Need help here guys...

So, I bought this supposed 2JZ-GTE fan and clutch on SF from a member. Then I broke the fan like the dumb ass that I am, I dropped a wrench into the fan and it shattered. So needless to say, I was back at square one again.

So...I went out last night and got another fan from someone that said it was a 2JZ-GTE fan. The fan looked different but took his word for it. Now, this 2nd fan doesnt fit on the clutch from from the first fan. The fan alines with the clutch but the holes dont line up, there about 2mm off inward.

I think the first fan looks like a 7M fan. Wtf is going on here people?

I'm confused now.

Okay. Looks like my first fan was really a 2JZ-GTE fan and clutch for sure. i found tissimo's photo pix of his 2JZ-GTE clutch fan setup and it matches my broken one.

Yup Nissan RB of some kind.

Looks to be RB25, I'd go take some pics of my friends but im too lazy.. RB20/25 have the same fan assembly IIRC.


EDIT: Nope, I was right the first time.. Its off a 25DE/DET.
