Dumb ungrateful bitch. If that had been me, my dad would have said "nevermind" and gotten rid of the car. If I were her dad, I'd get rid of the damned car and tell her to buy one herself. I hate people like that.

She needs to be bitch slapped into next week.. This is why i will never buy my child a car for their birthday.. NEVER.. Trust me, I dealt with this a lot selling Volkswagens.. I remember one time, a girl wanted a baby blue Bug convertible..Her parents bought her a the yellowish one for her birthday... She fell to the floor throwing a fit and crying.. SHE WAS 18 YEARS OLD!!!! it was a graduation/birthday present.. I told her parents "Well, since she doesnt like it, I'll be take it.. " .. Her father laughed and said "No, I will give it to my other daughter (who was 16).." ... The 18 year old was the spoiled one, does nothing.. The 16 year old girl worked for a living.. I checked in with them 3 months later.. The 16 year old still had the car, was paying the insurance and upkeep of the car.. Gas included!! I was like "yeah, she truly deserved that car..." The 18 year old still didnt have a car and wasnt going to get one until she had a job to pay for it herself.. I was like score one for those people! Deep down though, I freaking hated doing those kinda sales.. Made me bitter.. My parents bought a car for my brother on his 16th birthday... My grandma bought him one on his 18th and 21st birthday.. I, though, got shit.. I bought my first car at 18... I've bought the coolest cars, and somehow my father ended up taking them
Yes.. The first car I had, I build with my father. It was how I learned to earn what I wanted. I even bought some of the parts with summer jobs. Plus i did know how to fix it if I broke down. To this day I thank him for that build. We had alot of fun too!

my supra is my first car. when i got it, it had a BHG so me and my dad decided to jus do a swap since it already had 200k on it. i saved the money for the engine and trans and we did it together. it was the best thing ever and really makes me appreciate it that much more. and for her she jus needs a good beating
Nobody should be 'given' a car, whether its your child or not. I worked for all of mine, worked for all the parts and maintain it myself. Some people may not have a clue about the mechanicals, other than filling it with fuel, but most of them work to earn money to buy one and pay for the upkeep.

If your parents wanted to give you things, you'd take them. There's nothing wrong with parents that are generous to their children(within reason). There's something wrong with children who don't respect or deserve anything and still get things.
Heh - i never liked getting presents. I always gave them to others, but felt guilty upon reciept of one from someone else. I'd look after it and be thankful, but still never liked being given stuff. I didn't feel that i had earned it.
