Is it worth it to re-do the A/C, full interior, chassis, engine, trans, full electric system (seats, power stuff, heated seats/climate control), windshield wiper system and stuff.. Or just buy a brand new cheap 08 car and swap in the 2jzgte? Whats car if so?

if you were to buy a brand new car wat the hell does a jz have to do with anything? let's say your going to buy a 2007 nissan 350z which will cost you at least 20k+ you seriously would want to pull the motor out for a 2jz?
in this case it is too much work and depending on your income;what its worth is your own time and cost you put into your project.

Such a subjective question mate... Some people love Supras, so of course it would be worth it to them, others will not see the point in wasting time and money.

chances are, its not a good idea. to my knowledge there are no cars that will easily swap a 2jz. cars are getting so advanced, our aging motors are just yesterdays technology. granted they are still friggin awesome, there aren't going to be any new cars to just toss them in.
and you will get much better answers and information if you learn some manors.

mk3 for life!

Project Soupracharged
if you've got more money than you do sense, i'd say that a 2j in a new camry would be SICK!;)...... but unfortunately for most of us we've got a tight budget so we arent able to tackle a project that involves the kind of time, money, and modificatons you are talking about. so the only answer is to build our supras ,however long it takes, into the car of our dreams

If you have deap pockets.... yes....IMHO i think the supra has very beautiful body lines to start with..stock or modified...But i would only do a compleat resto on a low mile perfect body no rust AT ALL.... undercoat it.. now in 10-15 years if .. if you have not raged it to death but kept it up.. you just might get a very good chunk or your money back... maybe more.. IMHO i think supras will go up and up in price and 1j & 2j swaps that are done tastfully to the normal person.. will be a norm aceptance for colecters as we all know the 7m is junk compaird to the 1j or 2j.... Now this is just my opinun.. and only that..

why would u buy a new cheap car, cheap = gay car (suzuki, geo, deawoo) if 20k is too expensive. no car will be an easier swap than a supra. and why do u need to do all this restoration? buy a clean mk3?

short answer is no
long answer is stop trying to find an "easy" way out, when the "easy" way costs more and is more work.
