None of your fucking business
Personally I wouldn't pay anywhere near $700 which it may be worth... For me there is way too much body work that needs to be done. There is hardly a straight panel on it. Depends on what you want to end up with really, with enough money it could turn out real nice! I'd look for a straight body with engine trouble and pay a little more.

Uh no... And goin "half" on a car with a friend is a bad idea...

Timing of a tooth or three? What does that mean? How did the timing teeth break? I've never seen that... And if they DID break, there's something bigger wrong there...

Its a pre-89 NA... And its running like shit? AND it has a clogged cat? wth? Dood, I MIGHT give the guy $300 IF he brought it to me... Then I'd part it out to the members on here that might need some parts off it...

Good luck with your decision...This is just my own opinion...

the ONLY reason I would accept that car is to part it out.... honestly some things are not worth fixing.

Save your money and buy somthing that will be worth it :)

:kloguck: One J is right, you cannot polish a turd and I don't think it is possible to ever make that car nice even if you dumped a pile of money into it. Keep looking.

Even if you're just buying it to drive around right now, chances are it won't safety right off the bat, so you'll have to put more money into it just to drive it for those couple days before something breaks due to the rust or neglect it seems to have. And who owns the car you or your buddy? I would never go half on a car with a bud, even a best bud since you both might want it a lot you know?:icon_conf

I think Im just going to save and fix my lude now. Ill do as my sig says and buy a Supra with what I make from sellin the lude. I've been thinking about it all day and unless I was doing a complete restore its too much, then I could still find a cheaper shell in better condition.
