so, i decided that it was time to put some good vacuum lines in for my DR. JONEZ MBC. i pulled off my upper hardpipe, the ISC hose, accordian hose/AFM. when i re-assembled everything, the car ran like complete crap.

ok, first thing i thought of. it smells rich, gotta be a boost leak. i only touched ONE I/C pipe, and it's fully secure. i re-set the ECU, and it still does it. it'll idle around 500rpm,and bounce to 600rpm, then just die. sometimes it takes a few minutes, sometimes right away.

there's always been a popping/slight misfire at idle since i got it running agian. i always figured it was a fouled plug or something. under boost, the car pulls like a MO-FO. (was at 15psi) but after i put it back together, it sounded different, though i cant quite put my finger on WHAT exactly sounds different...

i checked the codes before i cleared them, and i had none. i still have no codes... and yes, the AFM is plugged in. :)

any comments?

Sounds like a leak to me. My intake manifold gasket had a leak and it did what you are describing. Maybe you had a leak and now it's just bigger? I dunno, just throwing that out there, heh.

definately not the timing. i know that for sure, because i just checked it the other day for shits and giggles. i'm betting there's a leak somewhere that i cant find for some reason... dammit!
