Won't idle/ harsh idle

Just replaced hg. When I crank the car over it putters then dies. I tried pulsing the gas. I heard a knock sound once. Can't figure out the issue at hand. Vaccum lines? Anything. I'm new at this so any advice would help

You didn't give much to go on. The engine being out of time, to include the cam position sensor will make a new engine not start/run bad.

Sounds like you're a tooth off on the CPS. Will it start and barely idle with the throttle wide open?

Or the belt could have jumped a tooth.

No knock sensor wires. Found out I don't have a turbo engine harness. Anyone have one for sale?? lol n thanks for the input
