RHD 86.5 Toyota Supra
Factory 7mgte

Got this car about 6 months ago with a run bearing and 192000km on the clock, have since done a full rebuild and have just recently had it back on the road.

Mostly everything's stock:
TMS MHG and ARP studs
3" exhaust with no cat (not straight through yet)

Nothing too exciting compared to other members cars.

Sorry about the 4wd height, am saving for suspension.

Oh and a digital dash for those that like them (I hate it :biglaugh:)

More of a gallery than a build up as it's more pics than mods but am still fixing up a few more things then will be modding it a bit.

I love Pre89 JDM MA70's. They are hard to find now a days. Seats could use a good cleaning :D. Interesting the JDM Pre89's came with shoulder belts in the rear and not lap belts like USDM cars. Love the factory yellow fogs on Pre89's. I have a set on mine only mine has a different blinder on the inside and it doesnt allow the yellow capsule to reflect inside as much.

I can't even use mine they are so bright! Is there anyway to turn down the brightness? They're seriously brighter than my high beams.

And yea, need to give the seats a good clean definitely.

Real JDM pre 89 fogs are bright as hell, probably due to the bumper design, points up slightly...

my 86.5 has JDM fogs, and MAN they're bright...I love it..:D

love your car, especially the trim, I believe it was offered on JDM 86.5's and 88's only, 1987 trim is the same as pre 89 USDM trim, except we had rear side markers...

keep us updated on your car, I'd love to see where you take this beast...

Wow can't believe it's been 1 year already. Car has come a long way since I first started the thread AND it should be a manual (w58) within the next couple of weeks cheers to Scotty (mytmk3), really looking forward to this. Fully rebuilt a340e for sale shortly.

Will probably miss a few things here but off the top of my head, this is what I've done since this time last year:

-Lowered on Tein Super Street coilovers
-Guards professionally rolled
-Exhaust changed to 2 1/2" due to ground clearance issues
-Sounds, sub/amp and 6x9s, headunit
-Couple of mods in the interior, new boost gauge, horn button above ignition, speedo fixed (mostly) etc.
-Bumper fixed
-Probably a lot of other things that I can't think of, few repairs here and there but it's mostly going great. Still have a few things planed for it in the future. Anyway, pics tell all...

Sounds good man, let me know how you get on, no hurry.

Yea it is pretty low, rear is at the lowest and front is two spins from the lowest, both on hardest settings. Handles amazingly. Smaller exhaust was a small price to pay, couldn't imagine it being any higher now.

Must be good to have your car back and running finally. Would make this 'build' thread look like nothing though haha.
