Wiring ?

im new to supra,so heres my newb ?


i have a 89 supra turbo with auto tranny(needs a wiring harness).. i have to get a wiring harness from a 89 turbo w/auto tranny harness,or will the manual one work?

you have to have the automatic harness, the manual one would be missing a couple of connectors necessary to control the transmission

yes, you need an 89+ turbo auto harness.

Check with our Toyota parts guys... With our discounts, I got one for about $400 shipped... best investment you can make in your MKIII (in my opinion).... after 16/17 years, it's done its job and chasing ghost-issues (related to wiring) is expensive and takes a toll on your sanity (ask me how I know ;-)

also check to see if its a pre 89 or a late 89. that might make a diff.
