I'm not sure but I'm thinking more that it shows right away warm startup..

Well from what I was told by shawn(this mechanic I know) that particular piece is supposed to open when the engine is cold and close when its hot. so it'd permanently stay open, though i don't know why it'd hurt. Is it not just creating vacuum on the tb?
I want you too go look and see where each line goes...then make your own educated guess...I told you the bvsv was important...go find out why.
The lines run from charcoal canister to bvsv to metal vac line on pvc pipe to one of 2 lines on only the usdm tb to either out the filter thing under the tb or out the other line off the usdm tb, I don't know, or understand it's function either.
I deleted my charcoal canister and am going to install a jdm tb(which only has one vac line up top) for a direct throttle link mod.
My bvsv is also snapped from prev owner so I am not using the bvsv and have the pvc vac line blocked where the bvsv line would come from.
I'm not sure how to fix all this but here's what mine looks like. Engine is still out of car.

So If I can get some help figuring out how to run the vac lines with no canister(will install if needed) and jdm tb that would really help out a lot because I've been stumped on this for months.

Well my friend ben just imported his jdm engine and the tb still has those vac lines comin out the top, he just capped them off.
gaboonviper85 - like i said its goin to the tb. JUST to put vacuum on it. Why is it important, why could you just go from the charcoal can to the tb and always have vacuum on it? Sounds like a reasonable thing to me/the other 4 mechanics I've asked.

^ I wouldn't even bother trying to diagnose the vac system on this car from the internet. You notice the complete lack of a vac tree from that pic with the alternator in the background?
mkIIIman nice .02 man, good suck though it had absofuckinglutely nothing to do with anything with my ?(see pic). But no I guess there isn't any helping me. I don't understand why you can't have constant vacuum on the tb. But as I stated before "I HAVE ANOTHER BVSV ON MY N/A ENGINE ANYWAYS, I WAS JUST WONDERING" guess I'll continue to wonder.
