so i just finished a 7M-GTE swap into my 86.5. Yesterday night about 5 mins from home, i noticed that when ever i put my turn signals on, my deck would reset itself. I went to start the car this morning, and ive got no power to the dash, nothing at all, 4 way blinkers work, and headlights shine bright. Anyone have any ideas??

what two wires twisted together in the fuse panel under the hood? any "wire" visible from the top of the fuse panel would only be the single fusible link, in which case, it's a special type of wire. if it's twisted together, go to toyota and get a new one for five dollars. it unscrews from the bottom (you'll have to pop the fuse box apart, it's pretty easy) two 10mm (i think) bolts, and it pops right out. DONT leave twisted wire in there, that's asking to fry your car.
