i have swap us motor for the jdm motor i have everything hooked up but i have 2 wires coming out of the wiring harness near the starter one wire is brown with blue dots there is three of those and one wire is blue and white with brown dots there are 2 of them i need to know where they hook up i hooked them to the starter but that is not where they go when i hooked them to the starter my main fuse starting getting hot so i unhooked them from the starter any suggestions thanks

Pics???? But off the top if my head ....i believe they are grounds. I say this because you say these wires are by the starter. I know there are about 5-6 wires that come together on 2 separate spade like connections that you bolt to the engine. Not near my car at the moment fir a pic but post one of the wires you speak of and i'm sure someone will tell you.
