i just put in a JDM 7m-gte into my 87 turbo supra. looks like it was a 89-92 automatic engine, the wiring harnest is perfect. so i used that wiring harness, problem is the wiring harness is to short to make its way to the ECU. any alternatives other then extending the wiring harnest? also i searched and read one post saying that i need to use my 87 wiring harness due to some different sensors. is this correct? also i have a pretty good amount of connectors left over. im really trying to aviod swapping the wiring harness out. any help is greatly apreciated.

that's HARNESS.

anyway, reuse your '87 harness. you'll save a ton of headache trying to lengthen and repin the later harness. you'll probably have to swap a few sensors as well as the plugs are different.
