None of your fucking business
Hey guys, I have 7 aftermarket gauges to wire up and I want to do it right the first time. I won't have a problem finding the correct wires to tap into, my question is how do I go about tapping 7 wires into one? I'm no electrical wiz, but it seems to me that running 7 wires off of one small factory wire would be a fire hazard. I thought about putting an inline fuse in, but It will still be drawing tons of power out of the factory wire. Let me know how to do this!! Thanks.

1.You want to wire the guages to some low amp sources
2.there isnt an easy way to join 7 wires into one. Soldering them together or useing maybe a small pin row and putting it into a small box with all the wires coming out is probably the cleanest way.

solder all the pins on one side with a long wire and soder the power wire on any one of the pins, and then all the wires needing the power connect on the other side. Then putting everyting in a box will prevent any shorts

I'm with shaeff.
I have a relay and junction/terminal strip after the relay that I use for all of my interior accessories I have added. If you run too much off of one small wire, you'l blow the fuse, or worse, start a fire. I use the relay to turn the power on and off when the ignition is on and off. It also lets me run a heavy gage power wire with a large fuse straight from the battery.
