Well, yesterday I started my winter project for the Sup. Im redoing the entire interior from bottom up. I stripped the entire interior completely except fopr the dash and carpet (tips on removing the dash needed). I plan on sound deadening the entire interior. Yes, I know it is added weight but plans are for a complete overhaul with results better than factory. Currently the interior colour is burgandy but will be changed to satin black dash and panels, med. red door panel insert, med. red seats with charcoal suede inserts and MKIII Supra or TRD embroidered into the front seats. SM member "TTE" is going to make a CF center consol, switch panel and guage bezel. CF armrest lid from Duane and hopefully:x: CF door sills from him to. I'd like to change all Dash lights to bright red (any help/suggestions recommended).
I'll be renewing the exterior by wet sanding the entire car including taillights, and then high speed polishing to bring out a high luster finish. Then I'll be mounting my 89 front bumper and 89 spoiler since I already have white 89 mouldings and tails on the car. I'll be going with a chrome/polished 18"x8.5" Stern ST-2 wheels upfront with BFG 245' and 275's in the rear mounted to the same style wheel but 18"x9.5"
. A CF lip will be installed when the GB happens for the 89+ CF lip from Duane.
I don't have pics of the original interior but everyone knows what burgandy looks like. If people want I'll post pics as I go along with this interior/exterior overhaul/renewal. We have a lot of engine overhaul pics and threads but not much for an interior overhaul. I'll be willing to post instructions and tips with pictures if you guys want.
