A Few Words From Kenneth:

The blue streak has been broken!!! ...By Supramania RED!

I am honored to follow Kwnate, it was a long 2 months wait. Congrats to all the runners up, there were some very nice looking cars, and drivers:). I have been a member at the other forums for a few years, and became active here at Supramania over the summer.....I feel so much more at home here, you guys are a great bunch. I'd like to thank the SM staff for running a great site here.....Id like to thank all you guys out there with the great engine setups for the inspiration, all the informative people on this site who take the time to share their info and ideas, and all of you who hooked me up with or pointed me toward the things i needed. I would especially like to thank DrJ, turboBob, Mike Malloy for all the help working together to get the MaftPro where it is now. I spent alot of time quizzing back and forth with these guys, and it was nice to see everyone wanting to see each other succeed with it. I think I have spent even more time trying to pass that knowledge on to others! I am looking forward to pushing the limits even further with the Pro, 7MGTE and A340E.

Let the thread Begin!

Of course Ken can not forget about the one person that has been supporting him through all of this. This is what he had to say.

a huge thanks for my fiancee Janet who supports me all the way with the Supras, and never complains about a thing , she is the bomb.

That is all.

Thanks...Ken

Some Future Plans:
The car has never been in an accident, and the original paint is in decent condition, It was chalky almost orange when I bought it, it took a lot of buffing to bring the red back.

I have original Bomex side skirts which will be moulded to the body, and a Kaminari rear bumper that will be installed in the spring. Then the car will be completely repainted. With any luck.....a carbonfibrefx hood and lights.

Additional Info:
Another of my favorites.....Built a340e, Raybestos blue plate clutches with extra friction discs, IPT modified valve body, 3400 stall converter, built the trans mysely, it’s the only auto I’ve ever built!

Coming soon.....Brian Crower 272 cams and springs, fidanza cam gears, meth injection and more boost!

A Brief from Ken on his ROTM Entry:

My journey....well...I got divorced 3 ½ years ago, lost my truck and had to part out my 88 supra to survive. Fortunately, I kept my house and my son. I was in need of a vehicle, and I found the Red Rocket on ebay. I borrowed a truck and trailer and made an 8 hour round trip with my son to St.Louis, where I saved the car from the wrecking yard /impound where it was sitting. The body was good, but the car was in miserable condition. Everything that belonged under the hood, except the short block, was stuffed in the trunk. I dropped the long block from my old 88 in it to use the car for d.d. Over the next couple years I built the original motor, and built the original a340e for serious HP. Performance has always come first, I don’t believe in having a pretty car that takes regular ass whoopins from Hondas or Mustangs. Fast forward to present day.....thanks to having a very understanding and supportive woman in my life, I spent the summer under the hood painting and polishing, and body work will be done over the winter, painted in time for Spring. My 16 year old son often reminds me the Supra will be his in the will, I tell him it will be stored until he is 35 if I die so he wont kill himself. The truth is I figure that gives me 19 years before he’s considering foul play. I just bought the future wife an 88 Turbo, so Supramania will be seeing plenty of us for years to come.

Why I deserve ROTM.....#1-My car is Supramania Red!! I built the original 7mgte and the original a340e, and got 500 RWHP out of them......and ....its no eye sore!

I hope everyone has a Chance to Congratulate Ken on his Spectacular effort with his car.

Congrats Ken.......I think you had plenty of fantastic competition this month, but I sure everyone of them thought of you as their #1 competitor in the deal. I campaigned for Vixen(cause she's from Bama, cause she's a girl, cause she's just great, and cause she has a beautiful, and worthy car) but in my mind, I knew you had the car to beat. But remember..........YOU will always be the one who kicked Kwnate's ass of the banner. I'm not sure if that will help or hurt you here in the future.:biggrinbo

I would just like to say ROTM November could not have gone to a better member. Kens car is a great example of what hard work and overall love for the car can produce!!! I am so glad you found SM Ken I cant imaging this place without you. Enjoy your month it goes so quick!!!! Enjoy kicking the last Blue off the banner. When your time is up, us ROLM Support group members will induct into our elite looser group.............lol :biglaugh:

Thanks for the kind words everyone! And congrats to all the runners up for excellent cars as well.

Nate...the blues went out on a high note! Im proud to maybe get a little red streak going. I just entered to be in the cool company of the ROLM support group some day;)

DaSoup....I'm not going any where, you guys are too much fun around here. I covered the beast up for the winter, so I'll get some interior pics in the spring when I do the body, I have some recaro interior panels to install first, maybe? some new leather. Gay blue is out of the question, you'll have to settle for photoshop;)

Born.....Will be a little while on the cam gears until the BC cam group buy goes through...I'm looking forward to dyno results from changing just the cams.

Duane....Thanks...You and Ron have definitely been at the top of the cars that inspired me!
