ok I have an 89 NA supra and right now it's got a pre 89 spoiler mounted to it because its all I could find locally when I first got the car, but now I'm wondering how hard would it be to switch to the 3 piece I know the sides just need to be drilled but do the holes on the center piece match up or do I need to drill new holes and I'd new holes are needed an I out if luck because I have a pre 89 wing already drilled?

I know the mounting patterns are the same.. but my only experience has been with an n/a that one of the pos put the pre 89 spoiler on.. when I put the 3 piece on, it was obviously off.

And my 89 turbo already had the 3 piece.

well guess ill try it and see when you put yours on did you have to do any extra drilling in the hatch?

Of course. Like I said, the bolt patterns were the same but the locations were not. I had to re drill the center ones. I don't know if from the factory they will be in the same location, but on my specific car, with the pre 89 spoiler being added by a previous owner, and NOT Toyota, the center bolt holes were in a different location.

Besides, the outer bolt holes are COMPLETELY different.

Well thanks for the information I'm doing a bunch of body work and painting to my car the next few weeks so guess I'm going to be switching to the three piece when I redo the door and bumper

I reused my 3 center holes. but the outside holes on the hatch do not line up or get hidden by the 89+,

so; weld/fill/block sand...
