Windshield Install - Who's Done it before?

So I have to replace my windshield. I would take it to someone to do, BUT theres som rust around the windshield that needs to take care of, so I will do that part.

I've read the TSRM its got all this whacky stuff you need like primers etc. I thought you just need the Urethane that comes in a tube such as this one:

Also, how hard is it to install the clips that attach the moulding around the windshield? There seems to be 3 different types of them around the whole thing.

Any advice etc?

i had my windshield change 2 months ago and it took the guy 15 minutes. theres 2-3 screws where you have to pop up the hood.and the window trim i think it just pops out.

You have to remove the black trim under the windshield and undo the screws behind that. After that I have no clue.

I can tell you from experience that it wont pop out if you pry on it with a screw driver just leave you with a very nasty crack.

its all urethane under the windsheild. you need To remove al lthe lower trim and i believe it pops off. Im not too sure thoug hand i woudl liek yto know because i want to fix the stupid rust starting under it -_-

I come from a land down under
There's a 2 handed tool with a blade and a cable handle you use to slice through the urethane glue strip that bonds the glass to the body.
(after you've removed all of the trim parts)
