I need forum help with something. I bought a set of JDM pwr folding mirrors and I'd like to put them on my USDM 88 N/A.

I know there has got to be a way to wire these directly into the existing wire harness and still have all the features work. I bought these thinking they would be plug and play, but I didn't do the research like I should have.

I've got to get some resolution on this. And for the right info I'll pay.

Thanks

I have a set on my car too. I have the controller in my house but haven't played with it yet. I can't help you with the wiring but would be interested in an answer if anyone has one. One thing I noticed though, the passenger side glass is the (driver side) so when the mirror is folded out fully I can't see correctly, I have to pull it in a little. I guess I have to take the glass from a set of usdm mirrors and swap them. I don't care if it's wired into the stock harness even if I had a toggle switch for this I'd love it it just wont work because I can't see with the pass side folded fully out.

how would there be a way for you to wire something in to the existing harness that DIDNT COME on the usdm cars? you cant...you need to use the proper switch and wire them the right way.

i would say the BEST you could do otherwise would be to hook up the angle motors to the stock switch and then an aftermarket switch for them to retract...but that would be about it and frankly more work then doing them how they were intended with the proper switch.

if you dont want to go through the hassle i am on the lookout for a good set so if you have the relay and the switch and everything and dont want to deal with it PM your asing price and some pics... i might be interested.

Well first to respond to your statement, It can be wired to the existing USDM harness, I just need some one who can read and interpret both the US & JDM wiring diagrams to tell me what to splice where. It's already been done I just can't get a hold of who done it.

And secondly, I do have both the switch and the relay from the JDM car.

ImpulseDrive recently installed his... perhaps he took good notes. Some extra wires do need to be run.
