i was looking in the local bargain finder and found some rims that fit 5x114.3 but the tires are 225/45/17 on 17x7 rims can i run this tire size?
is a 225/45/17 as wide as a stock tire?

i was thinking about geting them for now (the saws are killing me)
and get new tires next summer maybe a 235 or a 245?

Those wheels are in the local bargain finder for a reason. But then again, sawblades are really ugly.

But yes, a 225 in a 17 is the same width as a 225 in any other diameter. You need to check the overall diameter and make sure the tires aren't much taller or shorter than stock.

And don't spend much money on these wheels. Like maybe $5-10, otherwise, you're probably throwing away money. There's millions of cheap, good fitting wheels for the supra and no reason to waste much money on some 17x7 wheels with probably a horrible offset.
