18x8.5 (+37 offset) 245/40ZR/18
18x10 (+41 offset) 265/35ZR/18

I have AP Racing BBK on front with 12.5 inch rotors

Also, how much does it ballpark cost to get rims refinished? These are SSR five-spokes silver, with polished lip. Has lots of little scratches on both the silver part and the polished lip.

Last, anyone know a good wheel shop in Houston that does this sort of thing?

Thanks

They will be fine. I'm running 18x9.5's in the rear, w/275's...plenty of room...offset is 35mm. Fronts are just about perfect. Stock offset is 38mm(87-90) and I think(?) 40mm for the 91/92. What style of SSR's are they? The D5R's are awesome looking wheels! So are the GT3's.:icon_bigg

Not sure about front fitment with the BBK but on stock calipers, those wheels will fit no problem. Given the clearance on my car with stock calipers, I'd say you shouldn't have a problem. I'm running the exact same wheels with 275's on the rear.

I guess I dont understand how all of this is possible without risk of rubbing. I measured my wheel wells the other day and theres only 2.75" max outside width and 6.75" max inside width.

Add those up and you get 9.5" max width on tire. 9.5"x25.4 = 241mm tire. So figure 245mm max width of a tire. How are you guys fitting in 275s without rolling fenders?? Does suspension not compress enough or do you raise your car or what??

So confused :1zhelp:

i have to be missing something...

I've got 18x9's w/ 38 offset on the back...275/35 tires. 18x8's w/ 38 offset on the front...235/40 tires. Eibach springs w/ Koni shocks. No rubbing at all. The 18" wheels took out half of the lowering effect of the springs.

I thought you had a set of wheels? Pretty nice ones too....
