I don't know my 87 supra as well as I know my 50 year old airplanes...

I just replaced the head gasket. I set the timing based on what the manual says (#1 cylinder at TDC - cams at TDC). I'm 97% positive that everything is now hooked up, and correctly. I have plenty of battery. I have spark at all the plugs. I have fuel going through all the injectors. I have compression. There is quality fuel in the tank.

Yet... the dang thing won't start.... any ideas?

Is the CPS/distributor installed correctly? If you have fuel and spark, timing is the only thing left.

Check the TSRM for exact procedure to time the car.

If you're one tooth off when installing the CPS, it won't run. If you're within the ball park(On the correct tooth) leave the CPS loose and have someone crank the car while you slowly turn the cps.
