So im doing a full motor swap to turbo on my N/A. I was told that the N/A ECU is compatable with the GTE, is this true? Do i have to get the ECU re-flashed or something?

If you're going turbo, use turbo electronics. (ECU, AFM, CPS, Ignitor, etc...)

Also, there's no such thing as a reflash for these cars, unless you want to go the dinosaur route and find an old TechTom ECU and then find someone to reprogram it for you. (not worth it with our more sophisticated piggybacks these days)

Why would you try and make this more complicated to save fuck all money? That mindset will not serve you well going forward. Spend the money once and do it properly. It may cost more in the initial stages but it will pay off down the road. This doesn't apply just to this step.

Just use the right computer ........do it right. If it is a yellow plug harness I have 2 computers for sale.

And I am sure Shaeff can vouch for me...:)
