will manual work for auto???? HELP ME?!?!

hey there,
building another engine here, and i've got a manual CPU.......does anyone know if it's ok to put it into the automatic??? will it work? or do i need to go and find a automatic one?? help!!!:dunno:

I don't believe that will work right since the ecu helps control the shifting

an automatic ECU will work for a manual car, but a manual ECU wil NOT work with an automatic car.

auto has a seperate ecu located in passanger kickpanel.
