a friend is putting together a t04e set up on his supra... new motor, head bolts tourqed down to 75 ft lbs... stocker head gasket... my question is is anyone else running like this with out BHG problems? i told him he should put osmehting good on there while its apart for re assurance

All depends on the tune, if it leans out and detonates it's history.

the cars running 10. somehting a/f so its pretty richened up right now

I'd be more concerned at what condition the fuel system is in.

If the filter's dirty or the pump is old and tired it might be 10 now but still go lean when he pounds on it!
