Will bazooka tubes fit?

Will bazooka subwoofer tubes fit in my 89 mk3 hatch with the targa ( if I plan on mounting it right in back of the rear seats)? If it will whats the max woofer size that will fit? I still wanna leave the rear seats and spare tire inside the car.

Yes, a small one will. I have a 6" tube with no issues for either.

hehe i have that nos8 sub next to a real one..... too bad the nos tank is emptied and only for show. hahaha

I pretty sure I have the 8" version (not the nitrous bottle version though) in my hatch and am able to get my roof in there as well - I'll have to go measure it again.

I remember back in the day someone had two of them along the back edge of the hatch and the roof fit over both of them.
