Will a VAFC2 Work on a 7MGTE?

Before I purchase the Apexi VAFC2 i need to know if the Apexi Vtec Air Fuel Controller(VAFC2) will have the same functions as the Apexi Super Air Fuel Controller (SAFC2)?

Will I be able to tune the air/fuel the same as the SAFC2?

Will the VAFC2 work on a vehicle without variable valve timing capabilities?

I just need to be able to tune the air/fuel..whats the benefit of having a "SAFC2" OVER the VAFC2?

the v model is generally for hondas with v-tec. just get the safcii

I have the SAFC-2. Works great. I couldn't get my supra to pass DEQ... Had to buy the SAFC-2 and go through 32 times. But I wouldn't have been able to pass with out it. My car was too modded and running way to rich.

i highly doubt it will work, as hondas dont use the karmen air sensor the supra uses.


the safc is a universal air fuel controller.

this is mostly for the vtec, which makes it the equivalent (kindof) to a boost controller (like the AVCR) for honda's
