will a generic intercooler sized at 48x3x6 keep my ct26 cool at 320ish hp

im gona keep the ct until i can run 13's:biglaugh: then upgrade to a 57trim

I wouldn't waste my money on that intercooler. I belive it's too long by a foot and the DM intercooler is only $150 IIRC.

If you can make it fit, it should work fine. That's really big. Big enough that I suspect it's going to cost you more than $150 to make it fit.

Go with the DriftMotion intercooler, fast install, cheap, and more than enough flow to out do the ct26. Not to mention throttle response improvement

i went back to the driftmotion site and thier 150 dollar intercooler size specs is 24x12x3 which=864 square inches of cooling compacitey< yea i kno i spelled it wrong .and mine is 48x6x3 which=864 inches of cooling.:icon_bigg

fact number 2 the drift motion intercooler is nothing more than a generic chinese made intercooler.

Careful beachsupra, yes DM's intercooler may be have the same dimensions but that doesn't mean it's a Chinese knock-off. PM Aaron and ask him about his intercooler.

honestly i am in no way knocking on driftmotion in anyway shape or form i think his website is a great place and his prices on supra parts stay low which helps me out and the rest of the supra community.so im just saying for temporaily il use mine. but in the future il be getting the dm 57 trim and intercooler.

not the core itself (end tanks tapper as well, that taken into account?)
