Will 87 seats fit in 89?

I'm wondering if a set of 87 cloth seats are plug and play into an 89 shell?

They will bolt to the floor, sure, however, the electrics may not be a plug and play operation. Depends on whether you have the all or half electric seats from 87.

Just like GrimJack said, the seats will 100% bolt onto the floor, but take note pre-89 seats had the slide/tilt the bottom part feature and the lever to lower the back, but 89+ had the electronic reclining seats.

I think you should be alright. My 89 has manual seats recline and front to back. So the only problem you might run to is the plugs not plugging up.
